Accessibility
We have developed our website in accordance with the applicable legal requirements for accessibility - in particular the Barrier-free Information Technology Ordinance (BITV 2.0) and the Disability Equality Act (BGG) - as barrier-free as possible.
The Accessibility Reinforcement Act (BFSG), which came into force on June 28, 2025, is primarily aimed at private economic actors with consumer offerings such as online stores or digital sales platforms. As a public law institution, we have been subject to the requirements of the BITV and the BGG for some time now. Nevertheless, we see the BFSG as an important further impetus to continuously improve digital participation for all people.
Despite all our efforts, we have not yet achieved complete accessibility in all areas. We have checked our digital offerings with great care and reduced barriers as far as possible. This included using recognized testing tools such as Google Lighthouse and manual tests. We will continue to review and improve our website in the future in order to meet current requirements.
If you notice any barriers or have any difficulties using our website, please let us know. Please feel free to contact us by e-mail at marketing@ingolstadt.de. We will endeavor to find a solution together.
